BEST Engineer days 2010

After 10 years of existence and more than 50 successful projects, of which a dozen targeted to connect employers with students, Local BEST Zagreb group continues the long-life tradition.

From 16th to 18th of March 2010., Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing will be hosting the 3rd BEST Engineer days, which will include the 5th BEST Company Day.

With every new edition, the event evolves and gets some new components, and as such provides more to students and to affiliated companies. As a student organization that binds students of technology, we are quickly acquiring new skills and adapting to the new situation in society and the economy. This year, we connected BEST Engineer days with the international level of BEST. Students, who win Case Study or Team Design engineering competitions, will continue the competition in the next round on Central European level, and if they are successful there, they will be given the opportunity to continue the contest on a whole European level. With this move we strive to provide students the opportunity to work in an international environment, but also give companies the possibility of promotion outside Croatia.

BEST Zagreb is aware in what state Croatian and global economy currently is in, but it doesn’t change the fact that the employees are still the largest treasure of successful companies. Through BEST Engineer days BEST Company Day companies have the opportunity to present themselves to students, offer them internships or part-time jobs, and thus directly connect with their future employees. Students can get information about the companies right on the spot, either through talking with the company representatives, the presentation of the company or by filling out their CV in our BEST CV database, which contains CV’s from more than a 1000 successful and ambitious young people, future engineers.
