Educational issues

During the period of big changes in Croatian educational system BEST Zagreb gave its contribution and played an important role in the process of school reform.

In October 2004. BEST Zagreb was invited to take part in discussions organized by Ministry of Science, Education and Sports about Bologna process and its implementation in Croatian universities. Professor dr. sc Branko Jeren from Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing introduced members of BEST Zagreb with “E4 Thematic Network”. Later two our members Darko Naranđić and Alenka Prka had presentations about Bologna process in front of Senate of University of Zagreb.

To upgrade our activities we started a special group inside BEST Zagreb that is responsible for educational issues. The group has a goal to inform students about educational problems and to try to encourage professors and companies to induct innovations in teaching system and lectures. It would made a new generation of quality students.

BEST Zagreb is a part of BEST University Centre. It is a project that with intention to give students from whole Europe approach to Universities in other European countries. With this project we try to promote University of Zagreb between foreign students.

BEST Zagreb will continue its work with intention to improve current educational system and with help of students bring University of Zagreb to high level of quality.
